Bringing People to Discipleship in Christ
Outreach

As we read God's word and grow in God's spirit we come to understand that God calls us not only into relationship with him through his Son, but also into relationship with others. God continually reached beyond the borders of Israel to give his blessing to all humanity (1 Kings 17.) Jesus continually went out of his way to serve and bless the outsider, the lame, the sick, the hungry, the prostitute, and those on the fringe of society. (Mat 25:34-45.)

We, at First Christian Church, take very prayerfully and seriously our call to Outreach. It is our response and responsibility as Christians to look beyond our own needs and wants and humbly serve with our Lord, Christ Jesus, to build God's kingdom on earth.

Outreach is more than just giving of your financial resources. Outreach is getting involved and volunteering your time and energy to make a difference in someone's life. We expect all our members to become involved with one of the many Outreach opportunities at FCC.
