Children's Ministry

First Christian Church has a long tradition of Children's Ministries. We partner with other area churches in Upwards Basketball and Cheerleading. We have a mentoring partnership with East Elementary School. We also host several special children's events throughout the year such as our annual Easter Egg Hung and Fall Fest. We also have fellowship activities such as movie night and fishing.

Palm Sunday Parade - April 5th @ 9:30

We will march around the Capitol in costume with a live donkey waving palm fronds to celebrate the Triumphal Entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem.

Easter Egg Hunt - April 8th @ Riverside Park

We meet for food and fellowship from 5 - 6 pm, then the race is on to find the eggs!

May 3rd - Children's Sunday

Does your child like to sing and act? Children's Sunday is a special time when kids and youth get to participate in most of the worship service. We are planning a musical called "We Are United...An Island Adventure". We would love to have many young voices and faces for our production. We also need kids and youth to help with the scenery! Please call the church office if your child is interested. Rehearsals start soon.
